Delete hydrodemolishes bridges

We are one of the most experienced companies in Finland carrying out hydrodemolition of bridges. We have three hydrodemolition robots that enable us to even carry out hydrodemolition on the underside of the bridge from the decking. We can hydrodemolish targets up to nine metres tall from the underside.

Hydrodemolition is typically carried out with the water pressure of 1000–3000 bar. Hydrodemolition has some amazing benefits compared to mechanical demolition. Hydrodemolition is a so-called selective method, i.e. it removes soft, damaged concrete, leaving the healthy concrete in place.

In addition to bridges and other concrete structures, hydrodemolition is suited for the demolition of balconies, etc. Hydrodemolition is significantly more pleasant for the residents of the target as it does not produce any annoying structure-borne noise. This is especially highlighted in large projects that last several weeks.

The hydrodemolition of balcony slabs shows considerable benefits compared to mechanical demolition. Hydrodemolition does not cause small, harmful cracks in the concrete or damage the reinforcements; it actually removes rust from the reinforcements, making it easy to apply protective coating. Hydrodemolition is significantly more pleasant for the residents of the target as it does not produce any annoying structure-borne noise. This is especially highlighted in large projects that last several weeks.
