Delete is the leading demolition service provider in the Nordic countries. In 2016, its demolition turnover in Finland grew to approximately EUR 52 million. Delete predicts that the growth will continue during 2017, both organically and with the current corporate acquisitions.
“These acquisitions are very important for us as they support our goal of being the best partner in the construction industry and of developing and extending our demolition service offering,” says Delete Finland’s Managing Director Tommi Kajasoja.
“The transactions will provide Delete with a large group of demolition professionals with expertise especially in diamond cutting and drilling and indoor excavation, which are among Timanttiurakointi Hernesniemi Oy’s specialities,” Kajasoja goes on to say.
The acquired business operations are located in Ylöjärvi in the Pirkanmaa region. Along with the acquisitions, approximately 40 demolition professionals will transfer to Delete with unchanged terms of employment. Delete will also receive an extensive demolition fleet.
“Together with Delete, we will form an entity that opens up a great deal of new opportunities for us,” comment Hannu Hernesniemi, the owner of Timanttiurakointi Hernesniemi Oy, and Seppo Mäkelä, the owner of Mäkelän Timanttiporaus Oy.
The corporate acquisitions have no impact on existing contracts and agreements.
