Indoor demolition work at Dipoli

When an architecturally unique target is renovated, the demolition work also requires an extra delicate touch. Once a hub of students’ unions, the traditional and personal Dipoli building in Otaniemi, Espoo, has seen its share of student parties, conferences and festivities during its 50-year lifetime. The building, owned by the housing company Jämeränjälki, will be renovated and transformed into the main building of Aalto University and the shop window of top talent.

Delete won the bidding contest organised on the demolition work. In the project started at the end of November 2015 and finished mid-March 2016, Delete demolished surface materials, housing technology, machine rooms, bathroom facilities, etc.
