DeleKivi crushed concrete for civil engineering projects
Delete manufactures a product called DeleKivi®, which is crushed concrete, to be used in civil engineering projects. DeleKivi is a recycled aggregate manufactured by Delete from concrete and brick waste obtained from demolition sites or the concrete industry. The raw-material comprises concrete and brick that mainly comes from Delete’s building demolition sites. The grain size of DeleKivi is 0/90 and it is suitable for a variety of civil engineering projects. The quality of DeleKivi is assured in accordance with the harmonised SFS-EN 13242+A1 standard.
DeleKivi is suitable for uses including but not limited to:
- public roads, streets, bicycle lanes, pavements and areas directly connected to these, necessary for road maintenance or traffic (excluding noise barriers)
- parking areas
- sports grounds and routes in recreational and sports areas
- railway yards as well as storage fields and roads in industrial areas, waste processing areas and air traffic areas.
The use of DeleKivi requires an official permit, and the local Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) must be notified of its use. We are more than happy to help our customers to lodge such a notification with the ELY Centre.
